While studying Radio-Television-Film at the University of Texas at Austin, Morgan worked as a studio assistant at the LAITS Audio Department, where her fellow crewmembers trained her in a broad spectrum of audio principles ranging from cassette tape transplanting to live event mixing to podcast production. After graduating in 2017, she became a sound designer and dialogue editor in several creative industries including film, television, video games, and podcasts. Her work has screened at numerous festivals including Palm Springs, Hot Docs, Slamdance, and Krakow. Morgan has been the principal sound designer and mixer on the award-winning podcast The Great Fail since its inception, and several of her projects as a sound designer and re-recording mixer have been featured on The New Yorker’s website and HBO Max.
