Tom is the owner of Soundcrafter. He has been the supervising sound editor and re-recording mixer on many of Richard Linklater’s films and over 100 other narrative and documentary features. He has taught at the University of Texas and continues doing guest lectures for the University. He received a BFA and MFA in film/video production from the California Institute of the Arts after studying physics and music composition at Whitman College.
