Studio 1 converts to the foley stage by pushing the console to the front and opening the lids to the Foley pits. The window in the back connects to Studio 2 where the recordist sits. Four pits hold sand, decomposed granite, dirt, rocks and water. Two sets of double doors connect to the exterior of the building and the prop room. Heavy props like a car door, heavy metal items and various floor surfaces are stored on carts that can be rolled into the room.
